Are you between 11 years old and 25 years of age?
Do you have a talent in Song Writing and/or Performing, Poetry Writing, Photography, Art, Short Story writing, Choreography, Dance, Drama, Film Directing, Fashion Design.... If so, THIS IS FOR YOU!
We are seeking out the talent in the UK with our Get Creative Competition 2009!! We want to give the Young people a voice and to express what is important to young people!!!
We have 3 Themes to our competition:-
Youth Issues -
Things that matter to youth (any issue that affects the youth of today i.e. peer pressure, drug or alcohol abuse, bullying, crime, environment, knife crime, teenage pregnancy, fashion,)
History -
Things that have gone before in your home town (Anything to do with history of your town, memories)
What is Good about where you live?
What is good about where you live? (i.e. places to go, the people, what there is to do, the environment)
To enter the competition you will need to produce either a piece of Art, Photography, a Dance and/or Drama, a poem or a short story, a song, or a short film/documentary based on one of the above themes.
To enter please complete an entry form by clicking here . Entry forms must be received by 21st September 2009 (anyone who sends form after 21st September 2009 will not be eligible to participate in this years' competition and participants must complete an entry form to enter competition). Auditions/photos of initial work must be received by 1st November 2009. The semi finals for the competition in the South of England will take place on Saturday 16th January 2010 at Aldworth Science College in Basingstoke with the South Final to take place on Saturday 20th March 2010 .

The winner(s) will be able to spend a half day session at a professional recording studio (Nostairway Media) based at Teddington TV studios. They will get to record a song of their choice and take away a completed CD and photos of their day.
